working with our team
While I am responsible for the loan origination and the loan thru closing, let me introduce to you my assistant, Beth Anne Wilson.

-
Beth Anne and I meet daily to discuss our pipeline, and when appropriate, your loan file.
-
Once your loan file has been disclosed, Beth Anne will be the first team member to attend to your file.
-
Beth Anne will reach out to you and will be your main contact.
-
Her responsibility is to gather the remaining documentation, adjust the file to meet the underwriting guidelines we are following, and then present your file for final Underwriting.

CLosing With our team
My team closer is Jennifer Weigel. Jennifer, Beth Anne, and I all work together during the final steps of your home loan.

As your file moves from Processing to Underwriting to Final Approval, so will Beth Anne ‘pass’ the file onto Jennifer.

Jennifer will help with:

Jennifer is responsible to get you the final numbers for your closing.
CLOSING WITH OUR BANK
For your planning purposes, please know that at First State Bank Mortgage, we close our own loans.

We can, and often do, will also coordinate the plans for an out-of-town closing.

-
Reminder – A Personal Check is allowed when closing with First State Bank Mortgage. Otherwise, a Cashier’s Check made out to the title company is required. If you have planned accordingly, you can always send a money wire to the closing agent. Please be careful if you wire funds as there are many Internet Phishing Scams occurring [see below].

We are located at 6800 College Blvd, Suite 100, Overland Park, KS 66211. We are located one block east of Metcalf and College. You will find us on the first floor of the Financial Services Buildings [FYI, we are in the east tower of those two buildings].

Don’t be a Victim of Wire Fraud!
-
Never trust wiring instructions sent via email.
Cybercriminals are hacking email accounts and sending emails with fake wiring instructions. These emails are convincing and sophisticated. -
Always verify wiring instructions with your loan officer, loan closer, or title company in person or via a phone call to a trusted and verified phone number. First State Bank Mortgage is committed to your financial and data security and encourages you to be aware of wire transfer fraud.
